I look forward to trying this recipe. I drink green smoothies weekly. This will allow me to freeze the mixed ingredients until ready to use. Sometimes I have so many ingredients in the fridge, that I have to make up several of the smoothies at once and store in fridge. And I have had worries about how long the smoothies stay fresh in fridge.
Are capers an allowed spice/condiment?
I am having a really hard time with breakfast. Veggies just doesn’t agree with me first thing in the morning. Any suggestions?
Would this be just as effective as a salad? I don’t really care to drink my meals.
I made your smoothie recipe this morning for the first time. I left out the sweetener and used tap water. It didn’t have much of a taste but that is good – I’m tired of gross-tasting green smoothies, lol. Anyway, I feel energized and my stomach has not been upset at all between leaving my home for work and reaching my desk. I typically feel unsettled or have heartburn after my typical morning meals (which used to include coffee/tea with milk and sugar, and a carb-based food item with some animal protein), and today is a wonderful break from that. My stomach feels normal, and I sense a change in my body that feels almost like excitement. It sounds odd but I really think that my gut buddies are partying! 🙂 I can’t wait to keep moving forward with your plan! Thank you Dr. Gundry!
I tend to have bad reactions to avocados can I substitute them with something else?
I substituted a chunk of frozen mango for the avocado, which was delicious.
I had a gallbladder removal on November 6 I’m Vernsl, Utah. The doctor cut my bile ducts. I laid around for 10 days fill my abdomen with bile. I went in on November 16. They drained 1 liter of bile. Kept me overnight and drained another1 1/2 liters off my belly and installed a drain for my bile. My daughter took me to Provo Utah to the Utah Valley Hospital where Dr David Garry put me back together again. He had to use my small intestine for a duct for my bile to run through. Needless to say I’ve been through hell the last few months. I’ve read you books the Plant Paradox and the Longevity Paradox. I like what you have to say but have to be careful if I’m to implement it. Hence my comment. I’m sick and fevering every other day and can’t seem to get well. Although the last couple of months have definitely been better.
Does anybody’s questions get answered?

Good morning, Dr. Gundry & staff,
Your podcasts are wonderful, and just the right length for the first half of my daily walk. (2nd half is for intercessional prayer and meditation.)
My question refers to the podcast about oils. In it you said you would talk about ApoE4 people and coconut oil. I am an ApoE4 with one copy. Where can I find your advice on ApoE4′ ers and coconut oil?
I am not an expert cook but I got all the ingredients for the lectin free potato salad and I prepared it according to the instructions. I was wondering how to make the turnip tolerable. Maybe just leave them out?
i cant always get out to buy fresh spinach for my smoothies, so i found both powdered Kale and Spinach in a health food store, and have been using them in between. started on the bag of kale, make 3 drinks at a time in blender. seemed fine but over time noticed sharp granules in the corner of my eyes, rinsed with saline. then at times sudden sharp pains in my skin, on legs and arms? as if there was something sharp or itchy just under the skin? nothing visual. started googling and think it may have been Oxalic Acid Crystals! started adding a capsule per drink of calcium to bind with the O Acid, and the condition never came back? did I save myself kidney stones? would like a comment.
