054: It’s our first birthday… here’s some great stuff we did this year [compilation].
This week on The Dr. Gundry Podcast, we’re celebrating our one year anniversary!
So to celebrate, I’ve put together a few clips from five of my most popular episodes.
You’ll hear from guests like Dave Asprey, who reveals his 1-minute method for boosting your brain power…
Arianna Huffington, who is warning Americans (and the world!) about how this one “collective delusion” is DESTROYING our health…
Dr. Paul Saladino, who believes eating NOTHING but meat could help you lose weight and feel better than you have in years…
Dr. Joseph Mercola, who shows why intermittent fasting is one of the quickest ways you can transform your whole body…
And cosmetics guru Bobbi Brown, whose inspiring story reveals the importance of self-belief and determination.
So come celebrate with me — I can’t wait to keep you company with more fascinating guests and topics in the weeks, months, and years ahead.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
- How “smart drugs” could sharpen your mind and reduce brain fog (and maybe even turn you into Bradley Cooper’s character in Limitless… just kidding) (3:00)
- Why you might be able to live to 180 (and whether it would be risky to even try to do that) (4:45)
- The shocking mistake that made Arianna Huffington collapse at her desk and break her cheekbone — and why YOU could be making the same mistake right now (9:25)
- A 10-second habit you can do every night before bed to COMPLETELY transform the quality of your sleep and send your stress levels PLUMMETING (12:00)
- Why this “healthy alternative” food actually has 11x more glyphosate than other similar foods on the market (and why you should ALWAYS avoid it) (19:00)
- The one thing a whopping 97% of Americans are doing that’s significantly harming their health — are you one of them? (20:30)
- How to make your cravings disappear by doing something you’d think would make you hungrier (23:45)
- The “side hustle” hack to help you achieve your goals and do what makes you happy (26:00)

I have osteoarthritis and have already had both knees replaced. The surgery shortened one of my legs and I now have severe hip issues.
Even though I’ve eliminated processed foods, sugar, and most carbs, my inflammation markers are still quite high. I mainly eat somewhere between Keto, paleo, wheat belly food plans. Is there something I need to be increasing or decreasing to help with all this inflammation? I’m currently on meloxicam, as well as high blood reassure meds. I’d love to get off all of them.
My husband and I have been benefiting from eating preservative and lectin free for a year now. It started because my husband is a type II diabetic and was having trouble managing his sugar. Long story short, he is doing so much better with sugar management and we both have lost 10 pounds or better. My question is about a granddaughter, 18 months old, who has constipation issues. Her dad, my son, is in his last year of residency at Hennepin County Medical Center for Emergency Medicine. I was visiting in September of this year and saw the typical “American” diet they eat. I get it, working parents was easy meals for kids that nourish them. Sadly, they know not what they do! I gave him the Plant Paradox book last Christmas, so he is aware of the changes his dad and I have done to get and feel healthier. I have had a few discussions with him, but get quite a bit of skepticism ie where’s the research, double blind studies etc. His training requires him to follow typical Medical School protocol and it does not include the gut brain connection to health. They have a 4-year old too. You know, cows’ milk, white & wheat flour, fruit all year, corn products, cereal need I go on? The Minnesota diet is all about those items. I too suffered from constipation all my life until changing to what I now eat. (Love seeing the anaconda!) So, how do I get them to change their diet to benefit their kids?
